Wal-mart, Honolulu

The first Wal-Mart (or Walmart) outlet that I have been to is the one located on Keamoku Street, Honolulu (Hawaii) - just a short walk from Ala Moana Shopping Center.

I remember having been very exited at that time even though I have been to similar retailers like Carrefoure (French), Tesco (British retailer), Audi (German retailer).
I have read a lot about Wal-Mart in text books - its humble beginnings, the story of Sam Walton (the founder) and his noble intentions for starting the business (providing affordable goods to not-so-wealthy people), etc
What really caught my attention was the lingerie section - multiple sizes and colours;-)

Cute "panda kamasutra /sex positions" coffee mug:D

A very cute coffee mug! :D
For the past 3 years I had been searching everywhere (Ebay, Etsy, Amazon, Google/Yahoo shopping) for this "panda kamasutra" coffee mug but haven't found it :/

Chinatown Pavillion Restaurant (now closed :( )

I miss Chinatown Pavillion (near Broadway-Lafayette in NYC) :( too bad it's no longer in business. It was one of the best restaurants for chinese food, better than a lot of other places in Flushing & Chinatown (Manhattan). Went there back in 2011 when they had the Restaurant Week prix-fixe dinner, and we had lobster & scallops stir-fry & appetizers and dessert

Came across the best buñuelos I've ever had - at La Sabrosura Bakery in Astoria.

About Ebay

(Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EBay)

eBay Inc., (stylized as ebay), is an American multinational corporation and e-commerce company, providing consumer-to-consumer & business-to-consumer sales services via Internet. It is headquartered in San Jose, California, United States. eBay was founded by Pierre Omidyar in 1995, and became a notable success story of the dot-com bubble; it is a multi-billion dollar business with operations localized in over thirty countries.[5][6]
The company manages eBay.com, an online auction and shopping website in which people and businesses buy and sell a broad variety of goods and services worldwide. In addition to its auction-style sales, the website has since expanded to include "Buy It Now" shopping; shopping by UPC, ISBN, or other kind of SKU (via Half.com); online classified advertisements (via Kijiji or eBay Classifieds); online event ticket trading (via StubHub); online money transfers (via PayPal)[7] and other services. In the Brand Trust Report 2012, a study conducted by Trust Research Advisory, a brand analytics company, eBay was ranked 209th among India's most trusted brands and subsequently, according to the Brand Trust Report 2013, eBay was ranked 286th among India's most trusted brands. In 2014 however, eBay was ranked 853rd among India's most trusted brands according to the Brand Trust Report 2014.[8]
It is not a free website, rather it charges users an invoice seller fee on the basis of if they have sold or listed any items.[9]

Contrary to popular opinion, your health insurance provider has a vested interest in you staying healthy. Naturally, many companies offer discounts or even full reimbursements for gym memberships.
The amount you can save will vary from provider to provider, so you'll need to call or use your company's website to check, but as an example, Bluecross Blueshield offers up to $150 in reimbursements on gym memberships, and Kaiser Permanente offers discounts via partner programs. Before you sign up to get fit, call your insurance company.

What is BlueCard?
BlueCard® is a national program that enables members of a BlueCross Blue Shield Plan (Blue Plan) to obtain healthcare services while traveling or living in another Blue Plan’s service area. The program links participating healthcare providers with the independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans across the country and in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide through a single electronic network for claims processing and reimbursement. The program allows you to submit claims for patients from other Blue Plans, domestic and international, to your local Blue Plan, Empire BlueCross BlueShield. As an Empire participating provider you are contractually required to provide services to members from other Blue Plans.
How to Identify BlueCard Members
BlueCard Plan members have a three-character alpha prefix at the beginning of their ID number. The alpha prefix is critical for confirming membership and coverage and key to facilitating prompt payments. In addition, the ID cards may have logos that appear on the front of Blue Plan member ID cards:
PPO in a suitcase logo, for eligible PPO/EPO members
Blank suitcase logo
When you see these logos, it means that the cardholder participates in the BlueCard Program, which provides healthcare coverage for members outside their Blue Plan’s area.
Claim Submission
Out of area claims should be sent to Empire at:
Empire BlueCross BlueShield
BlueCard Program
P.O. Box 3877
Church Street Station
New York, NY 10008-3877
Quick Tip: For faster processing please submit your claims electronically to Empire. Claims must be submitted within 180 days. The EDI# for Empire is 3154480080. If you would like more information about electronic claims submission, or if you are having problems submitting claims electronically, please call EDI at 1-866-899-7322.
Quick Claims Filing Tips (Border County Providers)
Do you contract with multiple Blue Plans in more than one state? Below are guidelines for filing claims for Blue members.
Border County Providers
For providers that practice in border areas (contiguous counties), the standard rule is to always file the claim to the Plan located in the state where you provided the service.
Exception: When the member is from a bordering Blue Plan with which you have a contract, then file the claim directly to the bordering Blue Plan.
